The Los Angeles Community Garden Council is more than a collection of gardens — it’s a growing network of “urban ecological symbiosis.” We work to reconnect Los Angeles with nature, each other, and the land beneath our feet. Through seed-sharing events, hands-on gardening workshops, and the creation of vibrant green spaces, we cultivate not only fresh, local food but also stronger community bonds and a sense of belonging. Here, every seed planted carries the promise of sustainability, inclusion, and hope, turning neighborhoods into living ecosystems that nourish both people and the planet.
(Logo)
Our logo is made of letters, each with a unique line pattern representing the diverse people, cultures, and stories in our community. These lines show individuality but come together as one, symbolizing unity in diversity. The patterns intertwine, reflecting our connection to the land, nature, and each other. Though different, we grow as one.(Posters)
The first series features vibrant illustrations of fruits and vegetables alongside a map to help you discover community gardens. These posters express our brand voice and deep connection to the land.
The second series promotes seed swapping—encouraging you to exchange your seeds with those from our gardens to spread diversity and nurture growth together.
